Perdaman Ceres Urea Plant Project
Decmil
Burrup Peninsula, Karratha
2023 - 2025

The Burrup Peninsula is home to one of the world’s most significant Aboriginal rock art sites, making environmental and heritage protection a key priority throughout this project. CSA implemented a custom-made dust suppression system to ensure compliance with stringent regulations and minimise environmental impact. The project delivered a total of 2.2 million tonnes, maintaining a steady throughput of 5,000 tonnes per day, with more than 100,000 manhours invested.
From project commencement to completion in May 2025, CSA recorded zero injuries, underpinned by a strong safety culture across all works. CSA maintained high standards of safety, environmental management, and heritage protection, while building a strong working relationship with Decmil through reliable delivery, open communication, and a consistently high standard of performance.
"CSA achieved a significant project milestone reaching over 2 million tonnes. Big well done to the CSA Crushing team for all the hard work and dedication in achieving this milestone on time and on schedule. The milestone has been reached with an impeccable safety performance and is a true credit to the CSA Crushing team."
